Auburn Falls to Alabama in Iron Bowl

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze addressed the media following the team's 49-27 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Freeze expressed disappointment with the outcome but praised his team's effort. "We gave it our all," he said. "We just came up short against a great team."

Freeze noted that Alabama's offensive line was particularly strong, creating challenges for Auburn's defense. He also commended Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, who threw for four touchdowns in the game.

Despite the loss, Freeze remained optimistic about Auburn's future. "We have a lot of young talent on this team," he said. "We're going to learn from this experience and come back stronger next year."
